Grade Classifications Explained

5A/Mint: The best available grade of recycled golf balls, these balls are virtually indistinguishable from new. They display minimal to no wear and maintain their original color and sheen. You'll find player markings, as well as team and corporate logos, on these like-new balls.

4A/Near Mint: These recycled golf balls exhibit slightly noticeable imperfections, similar to how a new ball would appear after 1-3 holes of play. They may feature scuff marks, mild discoloration, and minor cosmetic blemishes that do not compromise their performance. Like the 5A grade, these balls include player markings, team, and corporate logos.

3A/Good: Classified as "very playable" and in good condition, these recycled golf balls generally resemble a new ball after 9 holes of use. They may display moderate surface blemishes, slight scuffs, and discoloration that do not impact the ball's trajectory, distance, or flight path. These balls may include minor scratches but no cuts or gouges. Higher-grade practice and "X-Out" models may also be included. Player markings, team, and corporate logos are present.

2A/Hit Away: The most cosmetically challenged of our offerings, these recycled golf balls have major surface blemishes, significant discoloration, and may even be cut or out-of-round. We do not recommend using these for a full round of golf, but they are perfect for backyard practice or driving range use, where appearance is less of a concern.
